An eye examination involves more than a simple test of your sight.

It is a comprehensive evaluation of the functioning of the eyes and visual system as a whole. It also involves detecting the presence of ocular diseases. Some systemic diseases could also be associated with certain eye disorders.

Diabetic and Glaucoma Screening

Diabetic Eye Screening is an important part of diabetes care. A range of ocular diseases are associated with diabetes, which may lead to vision loss.

Glaucoma Screening is done to detect an eye disease in which the optic nerve, which connects the eye to the brain, is damaged by the pressure of the fluid inside the eye. This is a sight-threatening disease.

Contact Lens Fitting

If you wear or want contact lenses, you need a contact lens exam in addition to a comprehensive eye exam.

A contact lens exam is necessary to ensure the lenses are fitting both eyes properly and that the health of the eyes is not harmed by the contact lenses.

Driver’s License Screening

Free screening for your driver’s license is done at our stores.

You have to bring a valid Identification document (ID) with.

Retinal Photography

Retinal photography assists in the detection and management of a wide variety of conditions.

It is especially important for people with a history of high blood pressure, floaters, diabetes, headaches, retinal diseases, flashing lights, or a strong spectacle prescription. Retinal photography is quick and painless and provides an excellent baseline reference point for future comparisons.
